Archive news for a proposal NSSI to compare two pension methodologies discussed in April 2019.

The proposal in April 2019

The publication reports a discussion in the parliamentary social committee NSSI to calculate and compare the individual coefficient by two methodologies so that future pensioners do not have to make the complex choice themselves. The text states that an additional proposal in this direction was forthcoming between the first and second reading of the amendments to the Social Security Code.

The context of the two methodologies

The archive article describes a temporary right of choice until 1 January 2023 between the new methodology using the insurance income after 2000 and the previous line of data for selected years before 1997 and the income thereafter. There is a need for documents for part of the older income.

Historical information only

The material reflects the legislative proposal and readiness of NSSI in April 2019, not finally adopted or in force today. For the current pension calculation, the official NSSI information and the current regulatory framework should be used.
