The World Championships in Newcastle, Australia, take place from 24 to 29 November 2026. Great Britain has been drawn in Group A with defending champions USA and host nation Australia. The team arrives after finishing fourth at the inaugural Women’s Worlds in Dolny Kubin in 2025.

Britain’s women’s programme began in 2021 and the team competed in all three Women’s World Challenge editions from 2022 to 2024. Its first win in that series came 1–0 against Team Pacific in 2024. A year later, Felicity Gregory scored both goals in a 2–1 victory over Team World, Great Britain’s first Women’s World Championship win.

The squad combines athletes with experience in both the women’s and open national teams. Gregory and Dani Czernuszka-Watts are among the key figures, while four British players already hold a C-Pool world title from 2022. Newcastle will provide a demanding measure of how far the young programme has progressed against established opposition.
